Let's reverse engineer our life for a bit. All of our results in life are the due to the thoughts we have created and I will explain. The reason for our results was because of the actions we took to produce that situation. Whatever reason that motivated us to take action was because of emotions we experience. We either chase things that we think will give us pleasure or avoid things that we think will do us harm. What ever those emotions are, they have originated from our thoughts.
The dominant thoughts in your head will produce emotions. If those emotions are strong enough, it would make you motivated to take some action. Ultimately, whatever action you take will create results in your life.
To recap, I put it in a simple formula with words: Thoughts > Emotions > Actions > Results.
So if you really want to be the best, you have to think that you are the best. Just follow this example by Muhammad Ali, truly one of the greatest in the boxing history.
We both know that this whole world is full of ups and downs, but when you are doing your job, just do your job. Close the deal. Have a great attitude. Think that you can successfully sell to the costumer. What you need to do is leave away all your problems aside and focus.
Do your best to think in positive words, phrases, and be mindful of the images that play in your head. Always think that you are the best, just how Muhammad Ali did it. Even if you didn't close the last deal, you will find ways to improve, read more, study more, practice role playing, and practice having a positive mindset. You have to focus on having an enthusiastic attitude and the more you do it, the more it comes natural to you that being great is who you are!
